Brief History
The City of Coral Gables will design, bid, award and construct traffic calming enhancement projects for the Gables Estates Community.  These traffic enhancement projects consist of adding splitter island diverters at Arvida Parkway and Leucadendra Circle, installation of brick pavers around five (5) traffic calming islands on Casuarina Concourse and installation of brick pavers at three (3) bridge locations: 300 Arvida, 200 Arvida and 650 Leucadendra Drive.  The Gables Estates Club, Inc. will contribute the full cost for these enhancements, estimated at $250,000.
 
In addition, the Gables Estates Club Inc. agrees to make payment to the City of $150,000 (half of the estimated construction cost) for the purpose of accelerating the pavement resurfacing of Leucadendra Drive and Casuarina Concourse.
