CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATION:
That a Resolution authorizing an extension of the existing contract with Wilco Electrical Contracting, Inc., until November 30, 2007, for miscellaneous electrical projects throughout the City of Coral Gables be approved.
BRIEF HISTORY:
Wilco Electrical Contracting, Inc. performs general electrical maintenance services to the City facilities, as well as maintaining all City-owned street lights. This extension is necessary since a new contract for electrical contractor services is out for bid and until such time as a contractor is selected and approved by the City Commission, we must maintain continuity of these essential services to our residents.
