On August 27, 2019, the City Commission approved Resolution 2019-260, authorizing costs for maintenance of the Carlos Cruz-Diez painted artwork installation.
A determination was made that the annual maintenance of the artwork qualifies as “extraordinary” due to the requirement of specialized professional services and, therefore, funding for the annual maintenance is being proposed through the Art in Public Places fund reserve.
