Title
Comprehensive Citywide Septic to Sewer Master Plan Presentation.
Body
The City of Coral Gables existing wastewater system consists of 35 pump stations, 64 miles of gravity mains, 14 miles of force mains, and approximately 1,400 manholes. It is estimated that approximately 7,655 septic tanks remain in service throughout the city.
This comprehensive, citywide septic-to-sewer conversion master plan, establishes a planning level, data-driven roadmap for the phased conversion of existing septic tank systems to a centralized sewer service. The plan is intended to support long term infrastructure planning, proactively plan for future sewer expansion, and position the City to pursue funding opportunities as they become available.
