Landscape Beautification Advisory Board Meeting of December 14, 2007

DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE MASTER PLAN: Janet Carrasquillo reported that the streetscape projects map has not been made. The board requested that it be available for the February meeting.
TREE EDUCATION/WEBSITE CONTENT: Janet Carrasquillo handed members copies of the text to be placed on the City's website along with the Frank Button article. Members suggested that the article text be typed and included on the website with links to additional information.
AWARDS: Nominations were accepted for Beautification Awards. Members were reminded that the deadline for nominations is December 13, 2007.
GREENING OF THE GABLES: Janet Carrasquillo reported that the Old Cutler Road project has been put on hold at this time.
Members decided to cancel the scheduled January 3, 2008 meeting. The next meeting will be held on February 7, 2008.
BOARD ITEM/CITY COMMISSION UPDATE: No new items.
CITY PROJECTS UPDATE: The senior housing unit on Andalusia Avenue is going forward.
