This Resolution amends the 2009-2010 Annual Budget and authorizes an appropriation of funds in the amount of $733,414 for the 2007 and 2008 UASI Grants.
 
The City received approval for the 2007 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) Grant in the amount of $519,259 and the 2008 UASI Grant in the amount of $214,155.  
 
These are reimbursable grants for funds expended on Homeland Security Initiatives to prevent, respond and recover from threats or acts of terrorism.  There are no City matching fund requirements for these grants.
