Resolution establishing a Red Light Camera infraction hearing officer account entitled "Red Light Camera Hearing" to administer the program and approving the appropriation of funds in the amount of two thousand, six hundred twenty-five dollars ($2,625.00) in the 2009-2010 Annual Budget.

Ordinance Numbers 2007-35, 2009-41 and 2009-54, created the Red Light Camera legislation penalizing and assessing fees against motor vehicle owners who violate red light traffic signals. These ordinances have further provided for a Code Enforcement Hearing Officer to consider appeals of citations issued for red light traffic signal violations.
The proposed resolution establishes a Red Light Camera Infraction Hearing Officer account entitled "Red Light Camera Hearing" to administer the payment of services rendered by the hearing officer.
The 2009-2010 Annual Budget is hereby amended to include an appropriation in the amount of $2,625.00 in the Red Light Camera Revenues account 001-1280-524-31-92 and the source of funds are from the General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance.
