Body

On July 2, 2025, the City Commission adopted a tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 of 5.5590; unchanged from the 5.5590 rate adopted for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.  The tentative millage rate of 5.5590 was used by the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser to prepare the 2025 Notice of Proposed Property Taxes that was sent to the Coral Gables property owners as a notification of their potential property taxes, as well as the date, time and meeting information for the first public hearing to discuss the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget. The date, time and place of the 25nd public hearing was included in the "notice of Proposed Tax Increase" advertised on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in the main section of the Miami Herald as well as in the display case in the main entrance of City Hall.
