That a Resolution accepting the bid of Tropex Construction Services, Inc., in the sum of $58,335.39, as the lowest and most responsive bid for the structural construction of the Guard House shell at Kings Bay Subdivision, be approved by the City Commission.
Brief History
Resolution No. 2008-18, passed and approved by the City Commission on February 12, 2008, amended the resolution approving the Kings Bay Security Guard District by Miami-Dade County, providing for construction of Guard House Facility and operation of traffic control devices requiring the execution of an Inter-local Agreement.
Bids for the construction of the structural shell were received from pre-qualified contractors, as follows:
1. Tropex Construction Services, Inc. $58,335.39
2. Gavarrete, Inc. $72,520.00
3. Wrangler Construction $75,930.00
The contract consist of the construction of the structural shell of the Guard House, including drywall, flooring, doors, windows, sliding doors, painting and cabinets.
