[The City Forfeited Asset Fund (FAF) Committee met on June 6^th, 2007, and approved the recommendation to expend a total of $2000.00 of State Forfeited Funds as provided for under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act. The FAF consists of certain seized monies and the proceeds from the sale of certain forfeited property received from both Federal Asset Sharing and State Forfeiture Proceeds. Under FSS 932.7055(5) (a), the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, a local law enforcement agency may expend these proceeds to provide additional expertise through training conferences such as the National Academy Associates' 2007 Retraining Conference..]
