The City’s Public Works Department requires the services of professional engineering consulting firms, per the requirements of Florida Statute 287.055 (CCNA), with the qualifications and ability to provide Transportation Planning and Engineering Consulting Services, that may include: Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning, Roadway and Drainage Design, Contract Administration, Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI), Material Inspection, Landscape design and Structural Design.
On February 2, 2024, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued, and distributed Transportation Planning and Engineering Consulting Services, Request for Qualification (RFQ) 2024-007 with the intent to qualify a pool up to six (6) firms. One Hundred and Twenty (120) prospective proposers were notified by INFOR, the City’s web-based e-Procurement service. On March 14, 2024, nine (9) firms submitted proposals in response to the RFQ: Ardurra Group, Inc., BCC Engineering, LLC., CALTRAN Engineering Group, Inc., CHA Consulting, Inc., EXP U.S. Services, Inc., Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., Roadway Design Solutions, Inc., Volkert, Inc., and WSP USA, Inc.
