Janet Carrasquillo began her career with the City on July 28, 1980. She displayed excellent skills, talents and job knowledge and progressed and was promoted from a Clerk Typist to a Secretary to an Administrative Assistant in the Public Service Department. Janet is recognized as a source of strength, steadiness and guidance. Her support, work ethics and values are appreciated and certainly exceed the realm of her responsibilities. Janet is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and is proactive in developing excellent procedures that assist her director and co-workers in accomplishing the numerous challenges and tasks at hand. She doesn't hesitate in assisting fellow employees and is always eager to learn more to update her skills and talents. In addition, Janet exhibits a professional demeanor, insight and commitment to the City and deservingly she was selected by her peers as Employee of the Month in August 2002. Janet is greatly appreciated for her loyal and dedicated service of 30 years.
