Congratulations to Joseph Ruiz, I.T. Applications Analyst, Information Technology Department, recipient of "Employee of the Month Award", for May 2023.

Body

Mr. Ruiz has implemented a new application for the Passport Division to send applications to the US Department of State. The new system catches user errors and automatically assigns fees and passport type based on DOB. Mr. Ruiz carefully followed the list of requirements provided by us, and was able to deliver all the requested functionalities. Mr. Ruiz worked diligently in this project, and was always available to discuss any details and new requirements as needed. The new system has reduced the applications processing time and thereby increased efficiency.
