Body

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish a contract with a successful bidder to furnish and install a new 300-Kilowatt (KW) diesel generator to provide emergency power in case of a utility outage to the City’s Trolley Depot.

On March 19, 2025, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2025-003 Purchase and Installation of Emergency Generator.  Three hundred forty-eight (348) prospective bidders were notified through INFOR, the City’s web-based e-procurement system.

On June 3, 2025, four (4) bids were received in response to the IFB: AGC Electric, Inc., Coreland Construction, Corp., Eau Gallie Electric, Inc., and Stonehenge Construction, LLC.

The responses were reviewed by the Procurement Division in order to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB and to identify the lowest responsive responsible bidder.  The Procurement Division finalized its due diligence process and confirmed that AGC Electric, Inc., is both responsive to the requirements of the IFB and responsible bidder.

The Public Works Department concurs with the Chief Procurement Officer’s recommendation to award AGC Electric, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Purchase and Installation of Emergency Generator in the estimated total amount of $574,505.00.
