Captain Durham has been selected November’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. Captain Durham played a pivotal role in every phase of the implementation of our new Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system Mark43. Captain Durham provided implementation of system department-wide through training and system orientation in collaboration with the Police Department and Information Technology Department. His technical expertise, combined with a deep understanding of operational needs, ensured a manageable transition to the new system.
The CAD system has improved our resource allocation, and overall situational awareness.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Captain Kyle Durham is nominated for Firefighter of the month for November 2024
