Citywide Traffic Advisory Board Meeting of May 19, 2009

Summary of Meeting

1.                     The Secretary reported on the community meeting held with the residents of the North Gables area following the Board’s business meeting of April 21, 2009.  There will be a follow-up meeting at a later date to discuss other traffic calming options.  Marlin Engineering will prepare and submit other traffic calming options for the area.

2.                     A meeting has been scheduled with Esther Calas, Miami-Dade County Public Works Director to review the various traffic alternatives for the North Gables area.

3.                     Update on the proposed Trolley route extension for next year.

 4.  Mr. Delgado informed the Board Members that a JPA for the Segovia Median Project was going to be     brought to the Commission for approval at their May 26^th Commission meeting.
