Body
The LEO Foundation was established by Coral Gables resident Don Carlin to recognize and assist members of the Law Enforcement Profession in South Florida.  Every year nominations are sought from all agencies local as well as federal (South Florida offices) in order to select and award those who best represent the dedication and commitment made by Law Enforcement personnel.  This year there were six finalist chosen from Coral Gables.  Crime Prevention / Community Policing Award: Officer Frank Jackson, Investigative Services Award: Sergeant Alan Matas, Detective Ivan Cabrera, Detective William Swikehardt, Support Services Award:  Sergeant Andrew Weidenfeld and Officer Reinaldo Azan.  One received the prestigious award at the March 8th gala.
