An Ordinance of the City Commission adopting the Annual Budget of estimated revenues and expenditures for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2026; providing for the separability of the provisions hereof; and providing that this Ordinance shall become effective October 1, 2025.
Body
On July 1, 2025 the City Manager distributed the City’s Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Operating Budget Estimate in the amount of $312,552,038 to the City Commission. A Workshop was held on July 2, 2025 to present the budget estimate to the City Commission and answer any questions or concerns. The budget that is being presented at the September 12, 2025 hearing is $313,573,494; an increase of $1,021,456. Attached to this agenda item is a document that details the $1,021,456 difference between the two budget versions. These changes will be presented and discussed at the hearing.
