One of the responsibilities of the city's Cultural Development Board is to recommend the annual allocation of cultural grant funding to the City Commission.
On May 14, 2026, the Cultural Development Board reviewed and scored 53 applications for the allocation of City of Coral Gables Cultural Grants funding in all categories, with one of the applications required by the Coral Gables Museum, which is funded separately.
Of the 52 remaining applications, 5 did not meet the 80-point threshold established to recommend funding and 2 were disqualified for not submitting required documents.
Proposed funding of the eligible 45 applicants and all scores (including the Coral Gables Museum) are included on Exhibit A attached to the proposed Resolution.
