Lieutenant William Bronkhorst has been selected May’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and for his concern for the department, specifically for his actions in coordinating the driver engineer program. Lieutenant Bronkhorst has done an exceptional job at revamping and instituting a professional and proficient driver engineer program. His individual initiative to train and develop new and existing drivers has raised the standard of all driver engineers. Lieutenant Bronkhorst is known to be the go-to person for all things related to driver engineer. His knowledge, skill and ability has made a tremendous impact on personnel and emergency response.
Lieutenant William Bronkhorst is well deserving of this honor and we congratulate him for his efforts.
