Progress update on the Citywide Tree Succession Project. 

Body

On June 10, 2014 the implementation of the Neighborhood Tree Succession and Initiation Program was approved by the City Commission. 

 

On March 10, 2015, the project was awarded to SFM Services, Inc. and project mobilization began in May 2015. 

 

The first trees were planted in June 2015, and the project is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2016.  Throughout the project and to date, progress of tree planting can be tracked at coralgables.mytreekeeper.com and further information can be found on the City website at coralgables.com/trees.

 

At the January 26th Commission meeting, staff will provide an update of the project.
