CULTURAL GRANTS:
a. GRANTEE PROGRAMS
The Board was advised that grantees are doing well and are adapting their programming on a regular basis in response to the pandemic. Ms. Cathers stated that at the time of the application, most organizations anticipated presenting in-person programming; however, due to safety protocols and guidelines, that has not been the case and most have moved to virtual programs such as Facebook live or Instagram live, YouTube, or pre-recorded concerts. It was noted that an extensive variety of cultural programs remain available to Coral Gables residents and visitors.
ART IN PUBLIC PLACES UPDATES:
Staff provided an update of Art in Public Places projects including: the Public Safety Building public art proposals; Hank Willis Thomas artwork benches restoration; maintenance assessment of the public art collection; Rafael Barrios sculpture movement to Ponce de Leon Park; William Barbosa temporary sculpture installation; Alice Aycock sculptures recent maintenance; Kiki Smith temporary exhibition installation; and Illuminate Coral Gables public art exhibition. She continued with updates regarding private development public art initiatives including the upcoming installation of artworks at Gables Station.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:
The Board discussed whether outdoor meetings are possible. Ms. Kautz stated that the City is reviewing this as a possibility.
