Presentation of 20 years service pin to Lt. Jerome Leslie, Fire Department.

Lieutenant Leslie began his successful and shining career as a Fire Recruit in January 1990 and completed his training in April 1990. He qualified as an EMT in March of 1992, Fire Inspector’s Certification in September 1993 and State Paramedic Certification in December 1993. In addition, he acquired his assignment to rescue in July 1995. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2008.
Through the years, Lieutenant Leslie has demonstrated good leadership qualities in emergency and non-emergency situations and promoting cooperation, high performance and teamwork from coworkers. He is cost conscious, a great problem solver and a talented communicator. In addition, Lieutenant Leslie has the ability to develop new ideas and to manage the resources to accomplish them. By being very fair and level headed he has earned respect and cooperation from his subordinates and is a valued asset to the department and the community.
The City appreciates Lieutenant Leslie’s dedication, passion and continued loyalty to furthering and expanding the excellence of the Fire Department. Congratulations to Lieutenant Leslie for 20 years of excellent service and performance.
