A Resolution authorizing expenditures in the amount of $47,610 from State Forfeited Asset Fund (F.A.F.) monies, to support the 2014-2015 operations of the Coral Gables "Citizens Crime Watch."
Body
Pursuant to the provisions of FSS 932.7055(5)(a), the proceeds and interest from assets forfeited as a result of criminal investigations shall be used for school resource officer, crime prevention, safe neighborhood and drug abuse education and prevention programs.
The primary crime prevention and safe neighborhood program of the Coral Gables Police Department is facilitated through the Department's partnership with Coral Gables Citizens Crime Watch, Inc.
The F.A.F. Committee met on October 15, 2014 and approved this expenditure.
