[Pursuant to a provision in the 2008 Florida House of Representatives Legislative Bill 5003 (HB 5003) Section 10 (d), funds in a special law enforcement trust fund established by the governing body of a municipality may be expended to reimburse the general fund of the municipality for monies advanced from the general fund to the special law enforcement trust fund prior to October 1, 2001.

Accordingly, the Forfeited Asset Fund Committee met on January 7^th, 2009, and approved the proposed expenditure of $100,000.00 to reimburse the City of Coral Gables General Fund for expenditures associated with the Police Communications Center project.
