Resolution accepting a grant for financial assistance in the amount of $500,000.00 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the construction of New City 3 Sanitary Sewer Pump Station and further authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement between the City and the DEP for said financial assistance under DEP Agreement No. LP8910.

Brief History
There is a documented need to rehabilitate and reconstruct the existing City 3 Sanitary Sewer Pump Station located at the northeast corner of the intersection of South Green Way Drive and Coral Way and City has requested financial assistance from the State of Florida for construction of a new facility to replace existing City 3 Sanitary Sewer Pump Station.
The State, through its Department of Environmental Protection has reviewed said request and agrees to provide financial assistance in the amount of $500,000.00, representing a portion of the total cost. The remaining cost of the new pump station, estimated at $500,000.00 shall be paid from the Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund
In order to receive said financial assistance, the City must enter into an agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection.
