Brief History
A fee increase in the contract for professional services for Hazen and Sawyer, environmental engineering consultants, in the amount of $250,000 through the end of the contract period, December 31, 2010, needed in order to maintain schedules for capital projects and ensure regulatory compliance. Professional services will be needed for the design and construction inspection of new and rehabilitated sanitary sewer pump stations, force mains, computer modeling of the sanitary sewer system, and generation of reports as required by regulatory agencies.
Funding for said professional services is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Budget, Sanitary Sewer Fund, Account Code No. 410-9900-535-6300.
