Lt. Thad Ovcarich was selected as November’s Firefighter of the Month for his acts of concern and consideration in dealing with the public, fellow employees, and supervisors, specifically his endless dedication to the department, its members and its members’ families by being the “go to guy” whenever anyone needs assistance. Lt. Ovcarich’s professionalism performing his regular duties as a Fire Lieutenant, as well as going above and beyond the call of duty by serving admirably on the Coral Gables Firefighters Benevolent Association is deserving of this recognition.
