One of the responsibilities of the City's Cultural Development Board is to recommend to the City Commission the annual allocation of cultural grant funding. On December 08, 2015, the City Commission approved funding for 25 cultural grants and remanded the two Area Performance Gallery proposed allocations back to the Cultural Development Board with the direction to fund the organization in one category only and provide a recommendation to the Commission on allocation of the remaining funds.
