Traffic Advisory Board Meeting of October 19, 2007
SUMMARY OF MINUTES:
1. Attendance by Elizabeth M. Hernandez, City Attorney, to review funding options and recommendations.
2. Possible funding sources were thoroughly discussed and the Board Members recommended that Internal Audit conduct an audit to see whether the City is entitled to any funding from the Federal Government.
3. Two residents representing the Riviera Neighborhood Association discussed the proposed traffic calming to be installed this fiscal year in their area.
4. The Board discussed the lights that are being installed to allow the police to determine drivers who run red lights. This is a pilot program approved by the State.
5. Landscaping of the Hardee circles was discussed.
