Insurance Advisory Committee Meeting of January 7, 2010

Body

1.                     The minutes of the September 9, 2009 meetings were approved as final minutes.

2.                     Ms. Adler informed the Committee of the Commissions approval of the RFP awarded to the Comprehensive Companies in connection with the Cafeteria Plan (Voluntary Benefits).

3.                     The Committee voted unanimously to recommend to the City Commission awarding the Health Insurance Consultant RFP to Robert J. Shafer and Associates.

4.                     Ms. Adler informed the committee of a possible Health Insurance re-bid after renewal rates have been reviewed.

5.                     The next Insurance Advisory Committee Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2010.
