Body

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish a contract with a successful bidder for the replacement of electrical and SCADA equipment along with other related improvements as necessary to support overall system improvements at four (4) City’s sanitary sewer pump stations.

On February 27, 2026, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2026-005 Sanitary Sewer Submersible Electrical Control Panel Installation.  One hundred thirty-seven (137) prospective bidders were notified through INFOR, the City’s web-based e-procurement system.

On April 7, 2026, two (2) responses were received: C&I Construction and Design, Inc., and Coreland Construction Corp.

The responses were reviewed by the Procurement Division in order to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB. The Procurement Division finalized its’ due diligence process and confirmed that Coreland Construction Corp., is both responsive to the requirements of the IFB and a responsible firm.

The Public Works Department concurs with the Chief Procurement Officer’s recommendation to award Coreland Construction Corp., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Sanitary Sewer Submersible Control Panel Installation in the estimated total amount of $829,898.94.
