Summary of Meeting
The September 10, 2007 meeting was called to order by Chairperson Robert Berman, new member Mr. Rudy Fernandez was introduced by Dr. Pat Whitely. Mr. Fernandez is currently the Vice President of Community Relations for the University of Miami who oversees all facets of Federal, State and Local Governmental Relations for the University. Janet Gavarrete, University Planner, reviewed and updated the Committee on the 22 approved amendments. President of the inter-fraternity council updated the members of the Community Relations Committee on their current accomplishments. The student President gave an update on the extent of the student's involvement in Coral Gables and the surrounding community.
