Body
The comprehensive Infiltration and Inflow Project proposes to rehabilitate deteriorated sanitary sewer systems within the City, which have an average age of over 50 years. The project consists of all labor, materials, and equipment for sewer system rehabilitation technologies, and construction services. To obtain representative unit prices, three groups of work to be accomplished under the project were offered in the IFB as follows: Excavated Point Repairs, Lateral Lining, and Sectional Lining (Group A), Manhole Rehabilitation (Group B), and Mainline Lining (Group C), to allow bidders to bid all items within any group, and each group to be awarded as a separate contract.

On October 7, 2015, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued, and distributed the Citywide Infiltration and Inflow Abatement IFB 2015.10.07. On October 21, 2015, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference was held with one (1) prospective bidder in attendance out of the eighteen (18) firms who obtained the IFB package from the Procurement Division.
