John joined the City of Coral Gables as a Maintenance Worker I in the Public Works Department/Streets Division in March 1989. He was quickly promoted in August 1989 to Maintenance Repair Worker II. He accepted the responsibilities of Sewer Maintenance Mechanic in December 1995 and on occasion will fill in as a senior foreman when needed.
Over the years John has twice been recognized as Employee of the Month in January 1993 and May 2004.
In 2006 he was recognized as part of the team that expeditiously repaired the 16” force main on Old Cutler Road. He has proven he can handle any job given to him. We congratulate him on his 20 years of service and hope for many more.
