The minutes from the December meeting were circulated for approval. Motion: Sam Joseph motioned to approve the December meeting minutes. Jerry Santeiro seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Higgins Fallon distributed a schedule of upcoming Communications Committee meetings for 2013. Members agreed to the proposed scheduled
Higgins Fallon discussed the Jazz in the Gables which started this week and is going to be held until March 27.
Farmers Market has also started in Coral Gables and is held every Saturday until March 23, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The New Art for the New Year is a new exhibition with the participation of 11 different Coral Gables galleries under one roof.
Liana Perez wanted to discuss the opportunity that Coral Gables has to bring some of the Wynwood galleries back to our city. Members suggested inviting Economic Sustainability Department to next month's meeting.
Higgins Fallon also discussed the upcoming Tour of Kitchens organized by the Coral Gables Community Foundation.
Higgins Fallon showed a clip of the last month's live taping of the Junior Orange Bowl Parade. She also distributed members the latest e-News issue.
