On March 27, 2012, the Coral Gables City Commission through Resolution 2012-62 approved the Memorandum of Agreement entered between the City of Miami and the City of Coral Gables for the purpose of carrying out Fiscal Year 2010 Urban Areas Security Initiatives (UASI) program projects.
Resolution 2012-62 identified approved UASI projects submitted by the City of Coral Gables Fire and Police Departments.
The City of Coral Gables Fire and Police Departments support and seek approval to request an amendment to the 2010 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Projects List. The amendment will delete the Miami UASI 2010 Budget Line Item No. 2010-3, Vulnerability/Risk Assessment ($25,000) and replace it with a portable generator for an alternate command post location and other uses in the amount of $25,000 in order to improve emergency response capabilities.
