Presentation of 25 years service pin to J.B. Patterson, Public Works Department

Mr. Patterson started his career with the City in November 1983 as a Laborer in Public Works to work with crews on streets and sidewalks. He was promoted in March 1985 to Laborer II. Mr. Patterson’s classification was changed to Maintenance Worker II in March 1987 and he began working the night shift in March 1989. He was promoted in June 1990 to Equipment Operator I.
Mr. Patterson continues to improve himself through seminars and classes. He volunteers in various areas like the Junior Orange Bowl Parade. His file shows many letters of appreciation from residents for his kindness, courtesy, quick thinking and assistance in helping to resolve stressful and unexpected situations. He has come to their rescue and continues to extend himself the extra mile.
The City greatly appreciates Mr. Patterson’s passion, dedication and loyalty for the last 25 years and looks forward to a bright and continued relationship in the future. Congratulations.
