The Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB) reviewed and discussed:
• Single use plastics - SAB would like to institute the use of single use plastics instead of Styrofoam.
• WRAP - Miami-Dade County has adopted the Water Recreation Access Plan (WRAP), it is a reassurance plan to fixing the problems in the waterways in a quicker way instead of being done individually.
• Youth Appointment -SAB appointed Gabriela McGrath Moreira to the Board.
• LEED for Cities - The City achieved LEED Gold under the USGBS Cities and Communities Program.
• Keep Coral Gables Beautiful Program Updates Commercial Beautification Awards - SAB made a unanimous decision and awarded the four business with the commercial beautification award.
