A. NEW BUSINESS
D.-1. ART IN PUBLIC PLACES ZONING CODE - AMENDMENT
Stephanie Throckmorton, Deputy City Attorney for the City of Coral Gables, addressed the Board and reviewed proposed revisions to the Art in Public Places section of the zoning code. After a brief discussion, the following motion was made:

A motion was made by Mr. Valdes-Fauli to support the changes to the Coral Gables Zoning Code presented by Deputy City Attorney Stephanie Throckmorton. Ms. Burgos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

C. CULTURAL GRANTS
F.-1. CULTURAL GRANT UPDATES & CHANGE REQUESTS
Board members were updated on the status of Cultural Grant applicant programs and requests. Encantus requested a change of date for their concert from November 18th to November 30th.

A motion was made by Mr. Fliss to approve Encantus’ Cultural Grant change request as presented. Ms. Burgos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

D. ART IN PUBLIC PLACES UPDATES:
H.-1. ART IN PUBLIC PLACES UPDATES
Board members were provided with Art in Public Places project updates for private development and municipal projects including progress of the Police and Fire Memorial, and a reminder of the Lowe Art Museum’s “Where’s the Burger” installation.

E. CITY COMMISSION ITEMS
Board members were advised of the following updates:
· The Cultural Development Board Resolution regarding Ponce Circle Park passed. Ms. Burgos, who spoke on behalf of the Board at the Commission meeting, provided a report to Board members.
· ALTA Developers AiPP Waiver Request was passed with an amendment. Staff reported that the amended resolution eliminates the wall piece and applies those funds to enhance the sculptural tree.

F. DISCUSSION ITEMS
· Staff advised that the city’s public art collection is accessible through an interactive map on the Coral Gables website.
