Brief History
This is a request for Kiwanis of Little Havana to serve alcoholic beverages during the Art in the Park event series and is in compliance with the laws of the State of Florida.
 
For four years, the Kiwanis of Little Havana have utilized Ponce Circle Park as the location of their Art in the Park event. Each evening will consist of art and music to coincide with Gallery Night. This activity has been presented to the City's Special Events Committee with recommendation for approval. Provisions and operations of staging, traffic and safety control, post-event clean-up and noise management were discussed at the meeting. The event organizer will work with the Police and Special Event staff to assure that all provisions set by the Committee are met.  In addition, the event organizer will be working with City staff to provide sod improvements to the park as a community service project.
