Driver Ogden has been selected June’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. His initiative to develop a QR code guide for all trucks and for all hose loads in regard to 2-inch load, Lexington, and The Triple layer. He took the time to make YouTube videos with the Coral Gables equipment and went the extra mile showing pride and ownership. This is a great tool to keep all engines uniformed and prevent any on scene incidents with improper hose deployment.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Driver Engineer Ogden is nominated for Firefighter of the month for June 2023.
