The nomination was given by Lt. Terri Silverio, Internal Audit, who had this to say about Rebeca:
I have worked for the Coral Gables Police Department for more than 14 years and while I have worked with many dedicated employees, Investigative Assistant Rebeca Dantin stands out among the others. With this being said, I would like to nominate Rebeca Dantin for the Employee of the Month Award.
Rebeca is presently the Investigative Assistant assigned to the Internal Affairs Section. I have been assigned to Internal Affairs for over a year and have been the recipient of her hard work and dedication.
Administrative Assistant Day is approaching (April 23) and it reminded me how much I appreciate the effort and hard work she puts forth on a daily basis. I really gave a lot of thought to all the contributions (and “re-recognized” how terrific she is!) Rebeca has made to this office as well as assisting other entities of the department.
During the past year, I have come to expect that Rebeca’s assignments and projects will be completed with the highest attention to detail and accuracy. In addition to her responsibilities, Rebeca has always extended herself beyond her basic required duties and graciously assisted other units with various tasks. She has earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and supervisors. She continuously maintains her positive attitude toward completing any kind of assignment/project.
I believe that instead of just “doing a job,” Rebeca puts forth 110% of herself into getting the job done efficiently. She has worked on numerous tasks/projects while assigned to Internal Affairs, sharing her talents and abilities as well as being eager to learn new skills to become more effective in her position.
