Resolution accepting the recommendations of the Cultural Development Board for FY2009-2010 Cultural Grants.

Body

One of the responsibilities of the City’s Cultural Development Board is to recommend to the City Commission the annual allocation of cultural grant funding (this year, $150,000.00).  On November 18, 2009, the Board reviewed and scored 37 applications for City of Coral Gables Cultural Development Grants, Festivals & Special Events Grants, and Community Grants.  Three applications were disqualified because of nonconformity with grant requirements, two were not funded because of low scores, and one was deferred because of programming outside of the City’s fiscal year.  Funding of the remaining thirty-one applicants is shown in Attachment A: FY 2009/10 Cultural Grants Allocation Recommendations.
