NEW BUSINESS:
a. PRE-QUALIFIED ARTIST REQUESTS - GT2P
The Panel received pre-qualification materials for the artist team gt2p. Panel members reviewed the materials prior to the meeting. Ms. Hernandez noted that the team members backgrounds are primarily in architecture and design. After a brief discussion, the following motion was made:

Ms. Hernandez made a motion approving gt2p as pre-qualified artists. Mr. Mato seconded the motion, which passed with six in favor, one opposed, and one abstention.

b. PRE-QUALIFIED ARTIST REQUESTS - IGNACIO GANA
The Panel received pre-qualification materials for artist Ignacio Gana. Panel members reviewed the materials prior to the meeting. After a brief discussion, the following motion was made:

Ms. Hernandez made a motion approving Ignacio Gana as a pre-qualified artist. Ms. Miyar seconded the motion, which did not pass with seven opposed and two abstentions.

c. PRE-QUALIFIED ARTIST REQUESTS - RAY CORRAL
The Panel received pre-qualification materials for artist Ray Corral. Panel members reviewed the materials prior to the meeting. It was noted that the artist works in the media of mosaics and often creates work in response to architectural features and client’s interests, including collaborations with other artists. Panel members were advised that the artist is aware that any proposed artwork must be his own creation. Members discussed the craftsmanship, acknowledging the artform as one that few people are well versed in. After a brief discussion, the following motion was made:

Ms. Miyar made a motion to accept Ray Corral as a pre-qualified artist. Mr. de León seconded the motion, which passed with six in favor, one opposed, and one abstention.

Panel members continued discussion regarding overlaps between visual, design, and architectural artists and agreed that submitted proposals would determine how an artwork is ultimately perceived.
