Resolution authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 4600001900 between the City of Coral Gables and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), Conveyance Improvements to the Coral Gables Waterway dated February 5, 2010, by revising the project scope of work to reflect a change in the construction limits.

Brief History

On February 5, 2010 the City entered into an Agreement with the South Florida Water Management District for financial assistance in the amount of $500,000 to dredge the Coral Gables Waterway.  During a review of the plans by the SFWMD, it was discovered that the project limits in the Agreement did not reflect the project limits shown on the permit plans.  To correct this inconsistency, the SFWMD has prepared the attached Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 4600001900 which changes the original project limits as described between Control Structure G-93 (S.W. 57 Avenue) and Biscayne Bay to Control Structure G-93 and the Blue Road Bridge.

 

The purpose of this amendment is to revise the project scope of work to reflect the change in the actual project construction limits.  This does not have any financial impact on project funding.
