Lt. Donald Griffiths was selected as September's Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically his unselfish donation of personal time, expense, energy and talent to photograph and catalog fire department activities, fire and EMS training drills, as well as fire department special events.  His enthusiasm, humor, and professionalism while performing his regular duties as a Fire Lieutenant, as well as going the extra mile by maintaining an archive of photos for the department is deserving of this recognition.
