Brief History
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners has recently streamlined the Parking Fines Reimbursement Program whereby the County retains 30% for county-wide purposes, in accordance with State law and 70% is allocated to the governmental entity having jurisdiction over the violation.
The combination of fines collected in the previous fiscal year, and unspent funds from other municipalities, makes available an amount of $13,037.00 for which the City of Coral Gables may apply. Submittal due date of the signed General Affidavit is June 30, 2009.
These funds are available to the City every year upon notification from Miami-Dade County Office of ADA Coordination.
