Brief History
The property owner(s) of 701 Bella Vista Avenue desire to apply for permits to construct a boat slip within their property. The project plans indicate that a part of the construction work will require transitional dredging on City-owned submerged lands adjacent to the proposed boat slip and prior to construction, the owner(s) must obtain a Class I Permit from Miami-Dade County which requires written consent from the City of Coral Gables to perform dredging activities on its submerged lands.
Upon review of the circumstances presented, the City supports the property owners’ request to construct a boat slip on their property.
