Summary of Appeal:
 
The Board of Architects denied a request for Monier Lifetile Concrete Spanish "S" Roof Tile for the existing single family residence located at 1246 Bird Road, legally described as the: E16.67 FT of Lot 9, and all of Lot 10, Block 95, Coral Gables Country Club Section 5, Coral Gables, Florida.   
 
The applicant is appealing the denial of the following:
 
Denial of Monier Lifetile Concrete Spanish "S" Roof tile pursuant to Article 5, Division 6, Section 5.601, 5.602 and Section 5.603 of the Coral Gables Zoning Code (attached)
Background
The Board of Architects reviewed by a full panel of six members during a regular meeting of the Board on June 14, 2007. It was the unanimous opinion of the Board that the proposed Monier Lifetile Concrete Spanish "S" Roof tile was not appropriate for the house which was originally designed with a flat roof tile.
